The second morning of testing at the Catalunya circuit saw Daniel put a further 45 laps on his personal scoreboard, as we continue the job of understanding, developing and fine tuning the STR7.
The Australian’s work sheet called for mainly short runs this morning, using three of the four tyre options available – the Medium the Soft and, for the very first time this year, the Supersoft Pirellis.
This afternoon, longer runs are on the agenda. Ricciardo was fourth fastest behind Hulkenberg, Perez and Vettel.
