As Red Bull Art of Can 2011 comes to an end with a final exhibition in Kuwait, we bring you a selection of pieces that brought smiles to people’s faces.

The Red Bull Art of Can exhibition opened at the Exhibtion Hall of 360 MALL in Kuwait at the start of the month with a private gala and was open to the public until the 17th of December.

The final Red Bull Art of Can exhibition of 2011 displayed striking pieces, including a giant ant holding a Red Bull can, a large bull drawing and a captivating scorpion.

The grand prize of a two thousand Kuwaiti Dinar, went to Everito Villacruz for his “Scorpion”. Everito used a complicated technique to create a unique work of art made from several Red Bull cans.

“Art is something that I live every day. I'm walking, talking and living art. I’m so glad that my work of art captured the attention of the judges and I ask Red Bull to bring more of these creative events to Kuwait," said Everito Villacruz.

Second place went to Bader Al Mansour for his “Ready for Action” work of art (Large Bull). Hadeel Al Latheeth took third place for “Dazzling Lady Gaga”.

In addition to the 56 seven unique art pieces, guests were treated to exceptional works of art created especially for the gala by Greek artist Angelos Antonopoulos.
