More than 800 assistants arrived to Plaza Sotomayor in Valaparaíso to witness the national finals of Red Bull Manny Mania that gathered the best riders of the country from north to south. The big winner was Miguel “Kiskillo” Sánchez who won and surprised the audience and judges with amazing manual tricks in this final. “Kiskillo” is the talented rider that will travel to the big apple on August and represent our country in the world finals.
This year the Red Bull Manny Mania Chile took place in three cities, starting with a qualifier in Iquique, were Sebastián “Chuky” Fernández was the skater that represented all the northern riders. The next city in competition was Concepción, were Fracisco “Tanchi” Ríos amazed the judges and was picked as a finalist. Valparaíso was the last stop, where 50 young riders compete with their best moves.
The big final started right after the last qualifier ended. Spiro Razis, Chilean skateboarding legend and Red Bull athlete was a judge in the three qualifiers developed this year. “It was an incredible experience because I went from the north to the south of the country meeting talented young riders. I think that Miguel has a big opportunity in New York City, he will definitely show his impressive moves to the international judges”, said once the final was over.
“I´m very excited to represent Chile in the New York Finals. I am really happy about it, so I´m going to do my best effort there”, assured the winner.
