Red Bull athletes were well represented at the 10th edition of O’Marisquiño in Vigo, Spain as Sergio Layos, Milton Martinez and Matthias Dandoise all won their respective disciplines.

With over 800 participants it was the biggest event in its 10-year history, and competition was tough. As well as MTB Downtown, Skateboard street, BMX park, BMX flatland and Break Dance competitions there were also exhibitions in FMX, Mini-half, Parkour and Graffiti.

Spaniard Layos delighted his home crowd as he took the honours in the BMX park event. Martinez then took the spoils in Skateboard park, while Dandoise saw off Viki Gomez’s challenge to claim the Flatland title.

The weekend wasn’t all about competition though as the crowds were treated to sets from two of music’s finest acts. Public Enemy kicked things off on Thursday night, with the sound of “Fight The Power” reverberating around Vigo.

It was then left to Grandmaster Flash, the iconic DJ from New York, to close the festivities. He did just that and had the crowd dancing into the small hours.
