Ski-jumper Thomas Morgenstern's season is in full swing and a successful weekend in Oberstdorf sees him going further than he ever has before...
Hi guys!
It's been a turbulent weekend and I’m already on my way back home to Austria in the bus. Our team has claimed the victory with many points in lead, so everybody is in a really good mood at the moment. Moreover, I did the furthest jump of the team today, which makes me very happy, of course!
Maybe this sounds surprising to some of you but I’m really satisfied with every single jump I’ve made. My performance on Saturday has been at least as good as today, so you can see how the wind can influence the result on this hill.
Now I will have some time at home to relax and recharge my batteries. On Thursday, I will start my trip to Vikersund. I am really curious about the new hill there - I've heard that a new world record could be possible! It’s totally new and the biggest hill in the world, apparently, so of course we are all very motivated to jump there.
Before I go, I just want to say a big thank you to all the visitors, who have been there to watch and support us in Germany. Once again you made it a very special experience for us!
Thomas
