39 Days is a road trip by four musicians/friends in their mid-twenties, travelling from Berlin to Morocco in a graffiti-tagged Defender jeep, with the aim to reach Casablanca in order to perform at a block party.
Setting off with no money, they must fund the road trip by selling their own CDs, giving street performances, and organizing spontaneous musical events along the way. Indulging in the youth and underground music cultures of Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, the four characters hope to collaborate with diverse musicians.
