About Giorgio
Giorgio Zavos is only 20 years old but he has already achieved a lot. He’s well-known among most Greek skateboarders, simply by doing what he enjoys the most.
He was born in Montreal, Canada, and from an early age decided to become a lawyer. However, at the age of ten, he tried something that meant to change his life until now.
For the last nine years, Giorgio meets his friends every day to ride his skateboard in roads, parks, stairs or every other possible spot. He tries several tricks, falls, gets up, gets bruised, but never gives up. He’s out there, every single day, trying to get improved. He thinks that his best trick is pop shuvit and can’t wait to participate in contests abroad to become even better.
When he doesn’t skate (something that happens rarely), he listens to music, takes some time off, plays the guitar, though his priority is to have fun with his friends. Of course, he does all these with his stomach filled, as he’s notorious for his greed – don’t even think of eating his food when he’s not looking, because you’ll see Giorgio’s cruel side and you’ll make it to his black list!
As for the future, he just wishes to be healthy and have a good time. These are more than enough for Giorgio and reflect his motto about life which is “peace and love”. Naturally, he couldn’t admire more anyone else but John Lennon.
Giorgio is just a kid who discovered his dream early in his life and since then, he’s been after it with passion, patience and discipline. Aren’t you jealous?
