Edgar Torronteras's Details
About Edgar Torronteras
E.T.
Edgar started riding dirt bikes, like many of his fellow riders, at a young age. Influenced by his dad, the 32-year-Spaniard got his first bike at the age of four and went pretty much straight from the practice track to the competition mode in the kids/youth classes in Spain. Torronteras is simply a madman on two wheels and a true pioneer in the history of FMX in Europe. His international MX career in the 90s including rides at the prestigious AMA SX Series in America and successful starts at all the major European events. But that never seemed to be enough for Edgar.
While riding MX for a living, the young racer started to pull his first FMX tricks in 1995, but it took another six years until he dedicated his life to FMX.
Edgar has a long and distinguished history in Red Bull X-Fighters and his name can be found on the first-ever X-Fighters riders list. In 2002 Edgar won the event in Madrid, beating legends of the sport like Mike “Mad“ Jones and Mike Metzger, but due to a variety of injuries he was unable to take part in any Red Bull X-Fighters events between 2004, where he ended up fifth in Madrid, and 2012, when he got seventh place in Dubai.
Outside of FMX you can see Edgar on snow and wakeboards, Beat-Boxing, working with kids on MX and working as a DJ in his hometown Barcelona when he is not riding the Bananaface Compound with friends Andreu and Victor.
