Sucrose & Glucose
100 ml Red Bull Energy Drink contain 11 g of sucrose and glucose together. This total amount of sugars is comparable to the amount in an orange or apple juice. The combination of sucrose and glucose gives you energy particularly during periods of exertion because they protect the muscle’s own immediate reserves of glycogen and thus allow for longer and more intense activity.
